Cana is a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller.

She studied English & American Literature and Pedagogy at the University of Stuttgart, Germany and graduated with the thesis ‘The Quest for Identity in African-American Literature in comparison to Turkish-German Literature’. After completing her studies, she worked in publishing in New York City, where the creative environment inspired her to delve into film. She went on to join screenwriting and directing workshops before returning to Stuttgart to begin a career as a photographer and filmmaker.

She is currently living in Alabama, where she continues her freelance work in photography & film making, while also selling books & Turkish arts and antiques.
